What a gorgeous carpet! It’s no wonder the Oushak style is emulated in famous painting by great artists such as Jeanléon Gérôme. Unique, brilliant colors with a subtle refined sense. Large banded borders with oversized design elements. These are the characteristics that evoke a sensational sense of power, and Oushak carpets do just that.

Here is an absolutely stunning Oushak in the size of 11’x13′. First day of Spring and it’s snowing here in New York! Manhattan is expected to get 1-3 inches while up in Westchester we’re anticipating up to 5″. As the white powder continues to accumulate in the cold of outside, we’re sure staying warm inside photographing this antique Oushak Carpet:
